Admissions

Kent County Council have commissioned 30 places in our SRP which consists of 6 places in each year group from Year 7 to 11.  

From September 2025 we will be open for Year 7 and 8.  

To be considered for SRP support, children will have an ECHP and a primary need of autism and will have been discussed at the SRP Panel to assess their suitability.

Children with a high level of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) need, or with complex needs such as Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) are not suitable for a place at The Hive.

Folkestone Academy SRP should ideally be named on the child’s Annual Review and placement will be made by the Local Authority.
