Pupil Voice
At Folkestone academy we believe all pupils should have a role in sharing their views and opinions on their school, the Pupil Voice panel allows pupils to contribute ideas collected from their peers, to communicate with staff and share suggestions to improve their school.
The Pupil Voice panel will put these suggestions forward to our Student Council. These ideas and suggestions will be discussed in the meeting the Student Council has once per term.
The aims of our Pupil voice panel are listed below:
Our Pupil voice panelists will be able to:
work with pupils, parents and staff to make a positive impact on the school;
give all pupils a ‘voice’ so that their opinions can be heard;
provide constructive feedback to school leaders on how the school can be improved.
act as an advocate for all pupils in the school.
Our Pupil voice panel and Student Council framework is set out below.
