GCSE Mathematics Revision Resources
A book was published some years ago entitled ‘Mathematics is a Verb’. Of course most of us think of mathematics as a noun but mathematics really is a ‘doing’ word; we need to ‘do’ mathematics to develop our knowledge, skills and understanding of it. Students meet new mathematics on nearly a daily basis and so need to practise these skills regularly to master them and in particular when revising for key examinations. One last thing: your mathematics is the working out of your calculation to a problem not your final answer. The art of a good mathematician is the one who can produce a solution to a problem that is both precise and concise and clearly details how the solution was created.
