This week has seen the much-anticipated return of Children’s University. All children in Years 1 – 6 have the opportunity to take part in a course they expressed an interest in.
School Council sought children’s views about which courses children would like on offer, which informed teachers’ decisions. There is a wide and varied selection of courses taking place, some of which include: abstract art, batik, animation, book folding, Harry Potter Wizarding Club, Minecraft Modelling, Teddy bear making and pottery. Care has been taken to ensure that every child has been allocated a course which they selected, and courses which children completed previously were referred to in order to ensure fair allocation.
